Tanya is a sophomore at Duke University majoring in Global Health and Biology with a Certificate in Human Rights. Her research focuses on evaluating diagnostic probe activity in cancer cell models using live confocal imaging techniques. Tanya is interested in pursuing a medical degree with the goal of integrating healthcare and human rights. Outside of the lab, Tanya enjoys playing field hockey, taking long walks, and exploring new places.
